About THE CHIA CO

The Chia Co. is the world’s single largest producer of sustainably grown chia seed. We farm our chia in the pristine Kimberley region of Western Australia, the perfect environment, within fifteen degrees of the equator. Chia is the highest combined plant-based source of omega-3, fibre and protein and growing chia at this exact latitude provides the ideal day length for our chia to develop the high levels of omega-3 oils.

Our chia crops are irrigated to ensure the perfect amount of water is offered to the plant at the right time, eliminating the risk of inconsistent nutrition which is a common issue with rain-fed crops and ensuring we have chia available in large volumes all year round.
