Air Receiver Tank Fabricator | Compressed Air Pressure Vessels | ASME Sec VIII, Hydrotested, ISO 9001 | Industrial "Air Receiver Tanks – Compressed Air Pressure Vessel Fabricator and Supplier for Industrial and Oil & Gas Applications
Air Receiver Tanks provide essential pressure storage and flow buffering functions in compressed air systems serving industrial manufacturing, instrumentation air distribution, plant air tools, and pneumatic control networks across oil and gas facilities, power plants, manufacturing complexes, and general industrial infrastructure. As a specialist pressure vessel fabricator and supplier, we deliver complete air receiver tank packages fabricated to ASME Section VIII design requirements with full pressure testing and certification for safe and reliable compressed air service.
Our air receiver tank packages encompass the fabrication of horizontal and vertical compressed air storage vessels in carbon steel to the working pressure and volume capacity specified by the compressed air system design. Vessel heads are fabricated from pressed dished ends in ellipsoidal, hemispherical, or torispherical profiles as required by the pressure class and diameter. Shell and head plate thicknesses are calculated to ASME Section VIII design rules with specified corrosion allowance and joint efficiency factors.
Nozzle connections are fabricated and installed to specified sizes and orientations, including compressed air inlet from compressor discharge, compressed air outlet to distribution header, safety relief valve (SRV) connection, pressure gauge connection, temperature gauge connection, drain valve connection, and manholes or inspection ports for internal inspection access on larger capacity vessels. All nozzle reinforcements and weld-in attachments are designed and fabricated to ASME code nozzle reinforcement requirements.
Vessel nameplate data including ASME code stamp, manufacturer name, vessel serial number, design pressure, design temperature, maximum allowable working pressure (MAWP), and hydrostatic test pressure are applied to each fabricated vessel. Hydrostatic pressure testing is conducted at 1.3 times (or 1.5 times as applicable) the MAWP to verify pressure integrity before vessel delivery or installation.
Applications include instrument air receiver vessels ahead of air dryer and filter packages, plant air storage receivers for pneumatic tool supply, breathing air receivers for SCBA charging systems, nitrogen-assisted pneumatic actuation backup receivers, and start air receivers for diesel engine and gas turbine starting systems at oil and gas and industrial facilities.
All fabrication, testing, and certification comply with ASME Section VIII Division 1 (Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code), ISO 9001 quality management requirements, and applicable national pressure equipment regulations. Our air receiver tanks are engineered for safe, long-service-life operation providing reliable compressed air storage and pressure buffering across industrial and oil and gas facility compressed air systems."
