C-reactive Protein is an in vitro diagnostic test for quantitative determination of the concentration of CRP in human serum , plasma and whole blood . Corollary used with RL-A2000 Portable Quantitative Immunoassay Analyzer.
CRP is a kind of acute phase reactive protein synthesized in the liver. It is widely distributed in the human body, mainly in the blood, and also exists in the ascites, pleural effusion, pericardial fluid and joint fluid. The normal people have lower CRP levels, and will be influenced by age, exercise, diet and other factors. CRP will be increased rapidly when inflammation, infection, tissue damage or malignant tumors 6 - 8h, 24 - 28h reaches to top, acute phase concentration can even increased to hundreds or thousands of times higher, increased value and the disease severity was positively correlated, and will not be the effects by radiotherapy, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, drug factors.
