Product Descriptions
Brass gland are used with all types of unarmoured cable. They are specifically used in applications where it is essential to provide an IP66 seal or an explosion proof seal on the outer sheath.
There are two types:
600/1000 V stranded copper conductors PVC insulated with steel wire armour and PVC sheathed overall. Cable to BS 6346:1997.
600/1000 V stranded copper conductors xlpe/swa/pvc cable PVC sheathed overall. Cable to BS 5467:1989
As standard, all glands come complete with earth tags, lock nuts and shrouds where required.
