Cat engines and systems are used worldwide. The engines from Caterpillar are deployed in a variety of industrial manufacturing and production machines – as well as in agriculture and forestry, in ships, construction and mining equipment, locomotives, rail vehicles and many other applications.
Generator sets from Caterpillar ensure the primary and backup power supply in numerous applications – for example on oil platforms, in mines or remote desert and mountainous regions. Or in communities that are off the power grid, in hospitals, schools, factories, airports and office buildings. The Cat product line includes main drive, traction and propulsion engines from 93 to 5,650 kW and generator sets from 10 to 5,200 kWe.

For customers in the oil and gas industry, as well as numerous other applications that are off the power grid, Caterpillar CM generator sets by Zeppelin Power Systems secure the primary and backup power supply – for example on oil platforms, in mines and in remote desert and mountainous regions. Solutions are also available for pumping applications and gas compression.
The product line includes Caterpillar CM pump drive engines from 1,020 to 13,440 kW and generator sets from 970 to 15,520 kWe.
