Derrick Mast and Flare Systems represent specialist structural and process safety equipment fabrication and installation services for oil and gas production, refining, and gas processing facilities. As an experienced structural and process equipment fabricator and installation contractor, we deliver complete derrick mast structural assemblies, elevated flare stack systems, and associated flare piping tie-ins for safe hydrocarbon vapour disposal and emergency pressure relief applications.
Our flare system packages encompass the fabrication and erection of self-supporting elevated flare stacks, guy-wire supported flare stacks, and derrick mast-supported flare structures designed to safely combust hydrocarbon gas relief streams from pressure safety valves, blowdown systems, and emergency depressurisation at oil and gas processing and production facilities. Stack structures are fabricated from carbon steel with wind loading, seismic loading, and thermal expansion provisions engineered to national and project structural standards.
Flare tip assemblies, including the flare burner head, ignition pilot system, flame detection systems, and flare tip support structure, are installed at the top of the flare stack in coordination with the flare system vendor. Steam or air injection connections for smokeless operation, purge gas connections to prevent air infiltration, and water seal drum connections for liquid knockout are included as part of the complete flare system package.
Derrick mast structural packages provide elevated lattice tower or tubular mast structures for applications including drilling rig mast fabrication support, elevated platform support in remote or marine environments, antenna and communication equipment support structures, and elevated flare stack support towers where self-supporting designs are not practical due to site constraints.
Flare header piping tie-in packages connect individual pressure relief valve outlets, blowdown connections, and emergency depressurisation headers to the main flare collection header, with liquid seal drums, knockout drums, and waterleg configurations installed to prevent liquid carryover to the flare tip and manage flare header pressure dynamics.
All fabrication and installation activities comply with applicable API standards for flare systems (API STD 521, API RP 537), structural standards for elevated steel structures, ISO 9001 quality management, and project-specific fire, explosion, and HSE engineering requirements.
