The set for optimum access - in one system
In cooperation with Prof. Dr. Remacle, Richard Wolf has developed a laryngoscope set which provides users with an optimum instrument set for any application:
Four different laryngoscopes and the appropriate micro-surgical instruments in one system.
Their medical applications are mainly in the area of tumor surgery and phonosurgery. The beak-shaped tip bent slightly upward at the distal end allows these laryngoscopes to offer perfect view for every application. They can be used with and without laser support.
These laryngoscopes have been designed with variable handling and permit the investigator to decide whether the light rods, the insufflators and aspiration tubes are used internally or externally. This guarantees a perfect field of view and an ideal, individually adjustable working channel.
Operating Laryngoscope PN
Recommended for the anterior commissure, situations where space is at a premium and if larynxes are difficult to visualize
Working length 145 mm, total length 170 mm
Operating Laryngoscope LM
Preferred use in microsurgery and laser surgery, panorama view onto the laryngopharynx
Outstanding overview hypopharynx and larynx
Excellent view of epiglottis, arytenoid cartilage, posterior commissure, piriform sinus and the cricoid region
Working length 125 mm, total length 150 mm
Operating Laryngoscope BR
Triangular distal cross section of the sheath tube, first-class view of the glottis and the anterior commissure
Working length 155 mm, total length 180 mm
