Fresh coconuts from Vietnam are currently popular among consumers in foreign markets. Nowadays, fresh coconuts “Made in Vietnam” are exported to markets such as: USA, EU, Thailand,… Besides the opportunity to expand for fresh Vietnamese coconuts to reach the world level.
IMPORT GUILD LINE
Usually, fresh coconuts for export will be packed in sacks or jute bags. Then the coconuts will be placed in carton boxes for transportation. Each box will weigh about 25kg equivalent to more than 20 coconuts. If it is young coconut, it can be peeled into diamond shape before packing. The size of the carton box containing coconut is determined based on the weight of the fruit (can be referred to the standard of ASEAN).Fresh coconuts are intact and not scratched; Clean, no visible problems on the outside; No pests, diseases, odors or strange tastes on the outside; The outside moisture must not be abnormal.
