Product Descriptions

The prefabricated substation is a complete set of power distribution equipment that includes HV and LV switchgear, power distribution transformer, power energy measuring device, reactive compensating device, auxiliary devices, jointing components and etc. These sub-assemblies are mounted in one or several cabinets and coordinate with each other to operate together for transmitting power energy from HV system to LV system.

The prefabricated substation is the latest type of product developed and designed on the basis of existing products' advantages while considering the actual power distribution requirements. It features compact structure, less installation space, high safety, high reliability and simple installation. The product can be installed in the load center and moved flexibly along with the load center. Therefore, it is quite suitable for construction site, oil field, harbor, high-building, expressway, subway, airport, residential area and etc..

Ambient temperature:
      Maximum: +40℃
      Minimum: -25℃(outdoor),-5℃(indoor)
      Maximum average monthly temperature: +30℃
      Maximum average yearly temperature: +20℃
Relatively humidity: at 25℃
      Average daily RH not more than 95%
      Average monthly RH not more than 90%
Altitude above seal level: Less than 1000m.
Quakeproof: less than 3m/s2 horizontally and 1.5m/s2 vertically.
Installation environment: No obvious dirtiness, no explosive and corrosive gas or powder. The installation
                        site should have good air ventilation and no furious vibration and shocking forces.

Functions and Advantages:

1. Complete functions and high reliability

Capable of cutting off short-circuit current and load current, thus to provide all-round protection for the transformer.
Multiple power supply methods are available for HV side, such as looped network, dual-power supply, terminal and HV measurement.
Having all functions of traditional civil transformer substation.

2. Less investment, less installation space occupation and quick delivery

Less investment: low cost compared with traditional civil transformer substation.
Less installation space: only one third of space is required.
Quick delivery: the substation could be delivered within one month.

3. High reliability

Hermetically sealed structure is adopted and the enclosure is reliably grounded, with no need for insulation distance and sufficiently ensuring operator's personal safety.
Protective fence is added for the transformer room, to avoid accidental entering into the transformer room.

4. Reliable temperature rise control and excellent heat dispersion performance

The ventilation structure of "Chimney effect" is adopted for the enclosure and optimized to enable the product with higher heat dispersion performance. The enclosure's temperature rising control measures meet the highest 10K-class standards specified in GB/T 17467-1998 and IEC1330.

5. Excellent environment adaptability

Multiple types of enclosure are available for customer's selection, for example, common steel plate enclosure, composite board enclosure, stainless steel enclosure and "Three-proof" enclosure.
The enclosure made of composite board has the following advantages:
1. High mechanical strength for anti-bending, anti-shocking and anti-pulling.
2. High capability of anti-insolation, anti-radiation and heat insulation.
3. Excellent performance for frostbite-prevention, cracking-proof and heat-insulation.
4. Damp-proof and self-extinguishing. No condensation will happen at sudden temperature drop or rise.
5. "All-weather" operation.
6. Nice appearance and harmonic with the environment.

6. Flexible structure

Multiple type of structures are available for customer's selection, with sub-assemblies arranged in different layout, thus to satisfy customer's special requirement.
