Grosvenor House in Luton was refurbished in 2010 as a low-carbon emission Entrepreneur Centre. Biotecture designed and installed a green wall to the main street facade to make visible the building's very real green credentials.
Benefits of a green wall in this kind of public street location includes mitigation of the Urban Heat Island effect in the immediate locality. In addition, the green wall cladding contributes to the building's insulation and reduces its thermal loading.
